NovelsShelf respects copyright and expects writers and users to publish only material they are authorised to share. Rights holders may report allegedly infringing content using the process below.

Send a copyright notice

Email notices to dmca@novelsshelf.com. Please include enough information for us to identify both the protected work and the material you want reviewed.

Information to include

  • Your full name and reliable contact information.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • The exact NovelsShelf URL or URLs containing the material at issue.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Review and removal

We may request additional information, disable access to material while a claim is reviewed, notify the uploader, or remove content when appropriate. Knowingly submitting a false or misleading claim may have legal consequences.

Counter notice

If your material was removed because of a copyright complaint and you believe the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, email dmca@novelsshelf.com with the removed URL, your contact information, your explanation, the statements required by applicable law, and your signature.

Repeat infringement

Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing material may be suspended or permanently banned where appropriate.
